Description We are seeking an HR Specialist in the Financial Services industry, located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The HR Specialist will be primarily responsible for onboarding, processing background checks, handling workers' compensation and unemployment claims. This role requires strong communication skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires

• Execute background checks for potential employees

• Handle workers' compensation and unemployment claims

• Maintain compliance with all legal and company regulations related to HR

• Administer compensation and benefit functions

• Support hiring processes and ensure they are efficient and effective

• Maintain knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management

• Utilize MS Office to maintain records and generate reports

• Collaborate with other departments or functions as necessary. Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Demonstrated skills in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Experience in Hiring Processes from recruitment to selection

• Ability to manage Onboarding processes for new hires

• Experience handling Unemployment Claims and Worker's Compensation Claims

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with various departments

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity
