ABOUT THE JOB: At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.  We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our yogurt manufacturing plant in West Jordan, Utah. In this role you will be responsible for the following: * Investigating consumer complaints and performing root cause analysis. * Investigating non-conforming product and implementing corrective actions. * Developing quality training materials and training plant employees according to procedures. * Creating emotional quality campaigns to inspire team to prioritize quality. * Leading specific initiatives based on Corporate Quality guidance. * Implementing plant wide quality programs. * Trending quality KPI's and presenting them in an easy-to-understand manner. * Driving improvement in quality programs as gaps are discovered. * Reducing Finished Goods Losses by driving employee accountability and building capabilities. ABOUT YOU:  (all are required, except when noted as preferred). * You have a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, required. * You have 3-5 years prior experience in food or dairy manufacturing, preferred. * You have prior experience with lean methodologies, preferred. * You have leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to motivate a team of employees. * You have excellent analytical, trouble shooting, conflict management and problem-solving skills. * You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * You have strong computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) * You have experience with RCPS tools (6W2H, Fishbone, Why-Why) * You have the availability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and have shift flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends as business needs dictate.
