Job Description

Design and implement highly available, scalable, and resilient artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory, tailored to the specific needs that adhere to policies, standards and the security requirements.

Integrate JFrog Artifactory with various CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and other DevOps tools to automate artifact management processes and ensure seamless software delivery.

Optimize the performance of JFrog Artifactory instances by fine-tuning configurations, implementing caching strategies, and optimizing storage solutions to meet performance and scalability requirements.

Implement robust security measures and access controls to safeguard artifacts stored in JFrog Artifactory, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop monitoring solutions and proactive alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve issues with JFrog Artifactory instances, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing JFrog Artifactory implementations to identify inefficiencies, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.

Develop and execute strategies for cleaning up and optimizing artifact repositories, including removing obsolete artifacts, optimizing storage usage, and restructuring repositories for improved performance and manageability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with JFrog Artifactory instances, including but not limited to configuration errors, performance issues, and connectivity problems.

Take a hands-on approach to executing cleanup and remediation tasks, including scripting, automation, and manual intervention as needed.

Create comprehensive documentation, best practices, and guidelines for using JFrog Artifactory effectively, and provide training and support to development teams on artifact management best practices.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in DevOps practices, CI/CD methodologies, and containerization technologies, and evaluate how they can be leveraged to enhance artifact management processes using JFrog Artifactory.

Understanding of Supply Chain Levels for Software Arfifcats (SLSA 1.0) and implementation of specifications plus attestations in source, build and packages

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory in enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and software development methodologies.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or Groovy.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. null
