Overview:

We are looking for Visitor Center Ambassador to be responsible for maintaining the

Gateway Visitors Center location in Port Ludlow. They will be responsible for maintaining a positive image with the public, assisting visitors with information, pamphlets, and maps that promote tourism in Jefferson and all neighboring counties.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Welcome all visitors with enthusiastic hospitality and strive to provide exceptional customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a log of all visitors.
• Maintain a written work schedule, time sheet, and calendar of events.
• Respond to visitor queries in person, via email, or by mailing prescribed information.
• Assist in clerical and communications duties as assigned by manager.
• Be familiar with the surrounding area and continually interested in gaining new and current information related to visitor experiences or travel opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Exemplary customer service and communication skills
• Able to accommodate flexible work hours, especially during weekends and holidays (weekend availability is a MUST)
• Available weekends and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day
• Basic computer skills necessary

Hours/Shift: part-time 12+ hours per week, visitor center open Tuesday-Saturday 10:00AM-4:00PM
