THE ROLE :

IT Senior Program Lead - S2P Coupa serves as the Source to Pay (S2P) technical owner. This person will lead planning, drive deliverables, drive accountability, technical sign off, and support for the business in the S2P processes. The selected individual will work closely with the business Program Manager (PM), Global Process Owner (GPO), and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as well as the entire project team to collect, understand, and analyze business S2P implementation demands in a systematic and proactive way. This position will be responsible for overall technical delivery and process ownership for Xylem’s S2P program including projects, change requests, plan, resource allocation, risk, and issues.

This position will report into the Enterprise Applications tower and collaborate / manage other PM’s, leads, analysts, 3 rd party consultants, business users, and business stakeholders. This position has no operational supervisory responsibility.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and drive delivery of IT project deliverables including project plan, conceptual designs, functional and technical specifications, system configurations, interfaces and documentation for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow as they relate to the S2P program.

• Lead SLT, stakeholders and project team communication and status. Weekly reports to Enterprise Application tower. Monthly Steering Committee meetings. Bi-weekly risk / issues meetings.

• Member of the FIO (Finance Integration Office). Need to report any overlap or dependencies between the S2P project and other financial projects running concurrently.

• Lead all cross techno-functional leads / teams throughout all project phases including plan, development, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and go-live.

• Ensure impacts on the S2P areas are evaluated and implemented in compliance with Xylem best practices standards.

• Manage stakeholder interests while simultaneously managing conflicting priorities and business interests with excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

• With a proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and execute with multiple projects running concurrently in a global environment. As well as foresee and Identify project risk, potential project gaps and or issues as soon possible. Record once identified to discuss impact, priority, and mitigating action.

• Strong project implementation, technical, configuration, and business area knowledge in S2P area.

• Drive the technical side of Source to Pay processing, Supplier master, Vendor Invoice, and payments. Integration with multiple ERP’s.

• Plan and monitor finance aspects of the project. Track plan vs, actual costs, manage CR’s and associated cost, communicate any time and or cost impact dues to CR’s.

• Assist in the design and execution of test plans to ensure that integration, technical, business, and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet business requirement.

• Drive the offshore technical team to build and deliver requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

• Individual will be responsible for analysis, integration, testing and support.

• Monitor daily overall project progress based on plan. Speak to and or escalate any areas that fall behind.

• Ensure project team is appropriately staffed. Right size capacity management. Ensure we staff where low and challenge if we seem over staffed or driving towards going way over budget.

• Work with business and IT teams to ensure project issues are properly escalated and resolved quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. Or equivalent combination of degree and experience.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and execute multiple projects concurrently with a global perspective and the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.

• Proven ability to manage a fast-moving project with board level stakeholder interests while simultaneously managing conflicting priorities, stress, and dynamic business interests.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship management, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.

IT Project Knowledge:

• Minimum of 6 years practical, hands-on experience in the S2P space: Purchase Order, Vendor Receipts, Vendor Invoices and Vendor Payments.

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Experience implementing and deploying the entire S2P process across different business locations and in multiple ERP’s.

• Demonstrated skills and expertise in driving solution design, delivery, and support.

• Strong project management and implementation experience of complete S2P process cycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP is a big plus!!

• Previous Coupa experience is preferable.

• PMP Certified

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely. The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision and ability to operate office equipment. Up to 25% time spent traveling.

SALARY:

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - 130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
