It’s why we’ve earned the trust of millions, and why AAA Northeast has remained a resilient and reliable brand for over a century.As an Insurance Agent I, you will have the opportunity to acquire the Insurance industry knowledge necessary to achieve licensing Property and Casualty (P&C), with all training and associated costs covered by AAA Northeast! Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies, demonstrating Five Diamond Service in all interactions. Once licensed, sells property and casualty insurance products to members who contact us over the phone, online and in retail branches — no cold calling! Candidates must reside in RI, MA, CT, NY, NJ, or NH to be considered Schedules Options; based on a 40-hour work week:Remote: 8:00am-4:00pm and one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as well as at least 2 late shifts (11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm) per weekHybrid: Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm with an alternating Saturday shift from 9am-1pmWHAT YOU WILL DO:Insurance Sales Responsibilities:Sell all insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goalsCompile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer’s underwriting criteria, coverage and premium dataProvide the member with product and premium proposals that best fit their needsDevelop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely mannerParticipate in sales programs designed to develop insurance prospects; maintain prospect files in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemDevelop general knowledge of Life & Commercial products, working towards making referrals to licensed agentsRegulatory & Compliance Responsibilities: Develop familiarity with various insurance carrier products, services, technology and processesFollow all agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, as well as receipt and processing of all member paymentsWork with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposuresGain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authorityMember Service Responsibilities: Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clientsServices new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance CompaniesBuild professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and servicesGain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clients Salary: The pay range for this position is $22.75 - 25.00 per hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and work model (hybrid or remote). The hybrid work model will receive additional $2.00 per hour for time worked in-branch. Annual bonuses are some of the additional forms of compensation offered.
