IMSolutions is looking for Federal Grants Management Specialists to join us at our client, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

These jobs will be fully remote - 100% telework in the U.S.

As a Grants Management Specialist II , you will support the updates of federal grant policies and procedures by leveraging your in-depth understanding of the full grant lifecycle, from solicitation and evaluation of applications to closeout and audit.

These functions will include:

  • Perform various federal grant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in acquisition planning.

  • Awarding and administering federal grants, cooperative agreements, or other instruments.

  • Designing, developing, implementing, and interpreting federal grants/assistance management policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Serving as a liaison between the U.S. Federal Government and external customers, recipients, and awardee community to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues.

  • Providing knowledge and practical resources to stakeholders to ensure that customer service is relevant, accurate, and timely.

  • Researching and resolving any problematic transactions.

  • Preparation of acquisition strategy plans and briefings.

  • Preparation of Justification and Approval (J&A).

  • Source selection plans and other contractual documentation.

  • Maintain copies of contracts/grants, staff all requested changes, and determine if changes apply to other contracts/grants.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.

  • Six (6) years of direct Federal Government grants management experience.

  • Knowledge of federal grant laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices.

  • Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the grant's intent.

  • U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.

  • Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Candidates may be disqualified for federal or state convictions of crimes, military court-martials, delinquent federal debt including taxes and student loans, current use of illegal drugs, or lying on their application.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in business or a business-related field.

  • Knowledge of eRA Commons.

  • Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA.

Base compensation range and benefits:

  • $65,000 to $85,000—Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and location.
