Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL) seeks professional, innovative and detailed individuals for our Lead Software Engineer -- Firmware position located at our Lynnwood, Washington field office.  

The Lead Software Engineer -- Firmware serves as a team lead in the development the specifications, design, implementation, and documentation of a wide range of software and firmware products developed by SEL.  The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering and (1) lead and manage multiple projects of moderate complexity including participating in the executive project processes and lead engineers, associate engineers and technicians in product development processes; (2) write test plans; (3) conduct design tests; (4) prepare and maintain test and design documentation; (5) review data sheets and instruction manuals; (6) undertake to improve SEL's research and development processes; (7) mentor associate engineers and technicians; and (8) participate in industry technical meetings and conferences as required to meet operational and strategic goals. 

Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $136,000.00 per year.
