Veralto Controls Designer / Programmer (Hybrid - London, ON) in London, Ontario

In this role, you will be responsible for developing custom PLC and HMI applications in support of Municipal Water and Waste Water UV Treatment Projects. You will be responsible for creating written narratives describing UV System control and operation along with writing and executing test protocols for project and customer verifications. You will grow into a technical expert liaising with globally located partners in sales, project, production, service and product teams.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical / Controls System Engineering or equivalent

  • Experience in PLC and HMI programming for a minimum of 3-5 years’ developing complex customer or product logic solutions utilizing Rockwell Studio5000 and FactoryTalk View

  • Experience in reading electrical schematics, P&ID’s and customer specifications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Siemens TIA Portal

  • Schneider Control Expert and Vijeo Designer

  • or other PLC additional experience

  • Industrial network protocols and embedded systems
