Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Engineer with proficient knowledge in Palo Alto and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to join our growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. They will also play a significant role in installing, monitoring, and performing troubleshooting in regard to our network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls as well as Cisco ISE solutions.

• Design, implement and support WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security. Provide network support to our employees, responding to technical inquiries, and providing overall assistance.

• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability, overseeing system's functionality and efficiency.

• Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security. Upgrade systems with new releases and models.

• Conduct network modeling, analysis, and planning. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, applying a deep understanding of network security issues. Work within an established incident and problem management system to resolve any issues that arise.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience in a network engineering role, specializing in Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ISE.

• Strong technical proficiency with Palo Alto Networks technologies, and a solid understanding of Cisco ISE.

• Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching.

• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.

• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS). Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.

• Certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, PCNSE) would be considered as a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mind. Good teamwork skills and attention to detail.
