JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking a Part Time Research Technologist . This position is available for a motivated individual to assist in project focused on the Inflammatory Bowel Disease pathophysiology and discovery of novel therapeutic targets. A primary responsibility of this position will be to oversee basic laboratory function, archiving human tissue and assist in animal experiments. Organizational skills and knowledge of basic tissue culture and laboratory techniques are necessary to be successful in this role. Skills in animal handling and breeding are required. Skills in immunology and molecular biology techniques are desirable.

• Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
