The Financial Services Technology Bureau (SABHRS Financials & IBARS) is looking for an analyst with experience in accounting, budgeting, business analysis, or systems analysis, and who is also customer-focused and enthusiastic about working in a constantly evolving technology landscape. We are team-oriented professionals that collaborate with our stakeholders to evaluate current business processes and IT systems to provide technology solutions and enhancements in a PeopleSoft/SABHRS Financials and IBARS environment. The Budget Computer Systems Analyst is responsible for: · Overseeing the installation, configuration, and testing for new, existing, or modified PeopleSoft modules (GL/Commitment Control) and IBARS. · Focusing on meeting the business needs of our stakeholders. · Testing components to determine system performance. · Trouble-shooting system issues. · Providing solutions to the State’s business process issues. · Conducting research about existing and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies. · Technical support and project management. Education and Experience: · A Bachelor’s degree in a business, computer science or related field and two years applicable experience. OR · An Associate’s degree in business, computer science or related field and four years applicable experience. AND · Familiarity with SABHRS Financials or IBARS would be a plus, or prior in-depth experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning or Accounting/Budgeting system. OR · Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
