This position involves landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following but not limited to: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, seeding, mulching and assist with installation of retaining wall units and pavers.

Daily responsibilities:

• Applicant must be able to work with a team and take direction when needed.
• Load, unload and move landscape materials on truck or trailers (50+lbs)
• Installation of landscape materials (grading, sodding, seeding/hydro seeding, pavers, retaining walls, tree/plant installation, mulch, stone, boulders and general landscaping tasks etc.)
• Site preparation and cleanup.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, and heavy equipment to complete assigned jobs.
• Safely operate and maintain company trucks and trailers for transportation purposes.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements including but not limited to: independently lift or carry 50 lbs., walk, stand and bend for moderate periods of time.
• Unloads debris, shrubs, soil and rock in designated areas, place equipment, tools and unused materials in proper storage area, gas vehicle, cover equipment, materials and tools remaining on the vehicle and/or trailer.
• May be required to participate in snow clearing activities during the winter months.
• Some maintenance.
• Other assigned duties.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with team members, supervisor and customers.
• Willingness and desire to learn about lawn and seed industry.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working outdoors and in a team environment.
• Work in various weather conditions for 8-12 hours per day.
• Work as a team to complete jobs on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including worksite, equipment and vehicles.
• Valid permanent driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CDL a plus but not required
• Reliable transportation

Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time - 40 plus hours per week. Monday- Friday - some weekends. Home most evenings.

Salary: $20.00 per hour - no experience $27.00 per hour - some experience $32.00 per hour - experienced Prevailing Wage Pay - certain jobs
