Robert Half Customer Experience Specialist in Fremont, California

Description We are on the lookout for a Customer Experience Specialist with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of customer service principles. This role is based in Fremont, California, and operates within the construction and contracting industry. As a key part of the team, you will be tasked with managing customer inquiries, billing activities, and ensuring smooth operation of all customer-related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively

• Assist clients throughout the home building process, providing essential information and guidance as required

• Manage billing activities, including the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments

• Handle account queries, including discrepancies in billing, and work towards a swift resolution

• Build strong client relationships that promote trust and loyalty, enhancing overall customer experience

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Conduct homeowner walk-throughs, acquainting homeowners with appliance operations, home maintenance, etc.

• Coordinate with the Construction Department staff and contractors to ensure completion of walk-through repairs within a given timeframe

• Schedule and supervise subcontractor repairs in homes after delivery to homeowners

• Maintain accurate service request logs and documentation of all work performed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role within the construction/contractor industry

• Proficiency in handling Customer Accounts effectively

• Proven track record of enhancing Customer Satisfaction levels

• In-depth knowledge of Customer Service best practices

• Ability to provide efficient Post-Sales Support

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Proficient in using customer relationship management software

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism

• Openness to learning and development opportunities

• Ability to work flexible hours if necessary.
