Join our dynamic team as a Data Governance Engineer, where you'll collaborate closely with source data application teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics and data governance solutions. Your efforts will empower better decision-making through insightful data management practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering and supporting one or more Data Governance platforms for Marketplace Stewardship, Catalog Quality, and Literacy.

• Supporting the research, review, recommendation, purchase, installation, and buildout of new software for Data Quality Observability and Data Access Management.

• Integrating Data Governance and Data Platform products seamlessly.

• Supporting Data Governance Frameworks and Automation initiatives.

• Performing various development lifecycle tasks, including design, cloud engineering, infrastructure setup, network security, data ingestion, preparation, modeling, testing, CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI integration, alerting, and production support.

• Providing technical leadership within a collaborative team environment and independently driving initiatives forward.

• Being an integral part of a DevOps team responsible for owning and supporting Data Governance products.

• Leading the development of coding standards, best practices, and guidelines related to privacy, security, and governance.

• Mentoring team members on technical and domain-specific skills to foster a multi-functional team environment.

  Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

• 3 years of software solution development experience using agile DevOps methodologies within a product model, including designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.

• 3 years of data analytics experience utilizing SQL.

• 2 years of cloud development and data lake experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure, including proficiency with Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Power Apps, and Power BI.

• Experience with a combination of development, administration, and support in various tools/platforms such as Python, Spark, Unix, Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, ADLS, Snowflake, Azure Data Explorer, GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx, Denodo, Grafana, DataStage, Informatica, Informatica Axon, Informatica EDC, BigID, and other Data Quality tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of software solution development experience using agile DevOps methodologies within a product model.

• 5 years of data analytics experience utilizing SQL.

• 3 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure.

• 3 years of cloud development and data lake experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Azure services.

• 3 years of experience with Data Governance and Data Platform products.

• Previous experience in the airline industry is a plus.

Skills, Licenses, Certifications:

• Expertise with the Azure Technology stack for data management, ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and creating consumption layers.

• Practical direction within Azure Native cloud services.

• Azure Development Track Certification is preferred.
