Robert Half Family Law Paralegal in Denver, Colorado

Description

Robert Half is seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Law Paralegal for a full-time contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and be committed to providing exceptional support to our clients during challenging times.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption cases.

  • Conduct client intake interviews and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the legal process.

  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on family law issues.

  • Organize and maintain case files, including electronic documents and correspondence.

  • Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.

  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization.

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendaring deadlines and scheduling appointments.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a family law paralegal.

  • Strong understanding of family law concepts and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and collaborative law.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.

  • Experience with family law software such as Clio or MyCase is preferred.

  • Knowledge of local court rules and procedures in family law matters.

  • Knowledge of e-filing.

  • Experience with preparing trial notebooks and assisting with trial exhibits.
