JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities of a yard associate is to make the yard presentable and functional to customers. Responsibilities of a delivery driver is to deliver product to customers as well as pickup product from suppliers. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Constantly and consistently work in all areas of the lumber yard that the manager assigns you to and perform all tasks to the best of your ability. * Cleaning and organizing in all areas that are assigned and need to be addressed. * Give suggestions to Manager that you notice need attention in any way. * You will need to provide customer service to all customers( loading materials/ answering questions) * May perform other jobs as assigned. * You will need to come to work on time to the days you are scheduled to work. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Medium Work: Exerting up to 125 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 80 lbs of force frequently and/or up to 60 lbs of force constantly to move objects. * Medium work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. * Handling- Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with your hands. MACHINES, TOOLS, & EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE USED: * Hand Tools * Power Tools * Forklift * Router * Saws * Sanders * Drills * Dremel Tool * Many Others WAGE: \$15.00 hour HOURS: 40 hours per week NOTE: All equipment that the yard associate will use, will be given the proper training and safety protocol to perform the tasked asked of them.
