The Convention Center is hiring all of the positions listed below. When an interview is scheduled, you will be asked your preference of the following options:

Dishwasher

$15

Our Dishwasher position is responsible for cleaning, transporting and storing all pots and pans used in the food and beverage operations.

With this position, there will be a $1.00 bonus after 90 days of employment.

Cook

$18

The prep cook assists the team in preparing food, maintaining the cooking environment's cleanliness, caring for the safety of all staff members and guests, as well as, taking on culinary tasks as they arise.

Bartender

We are looking for professional bartenders who pride themselves on giving superb service and serving outstanding beverages. Previous experience in banquet catering bartender position preferred, bartending experience required. Please be able to produce with dexterity during high volume events, while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and composure . Responsibilities include setup and break down mobile bar stations, including tables, equipment, and beverage products. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to work 8-12 hours during some but not all events. Must be able to provide transportation to events at the resort and offsite locations.

Banquet Server

The Convention Center Server performs all tasks associated with setting up, serving, and breaking down of function rooms where banquet food service activities are performed.

Responsible for the prompt, courteous, smooth and efficient service of food and beverage to guests during banquet and outdoor functions. Additionally work as a team to follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events.

Beverage Server

$15 +tips

We are looking for professional beverage servers who pride themselves on giving superb service and maintaining outstanding salesmanship. Previous experience in banquet catering beverage serving position preferred, beverage serving experience is required. please be able to serve with dexterity during high volume events while maintaining ordering accuracy, upsell ability, and onstage composure. Responsibilities include setup and breakdown of mobile service stations, including serving equipment, glassware and beverage products. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. must be able to work 8-12 hours during some but not all events. Must be able to provide transportation to events at the resort and offsite locations.

Cruise Boat Banquet Server

$16

Responsible for the prompt, courteous, smooth and efficient service of buffet items to guests during Lake Coeur d'Alene river cruises. The right candidate must be able to work 8 hour shifts and must be self motivated. This is a part time / seasonal position.

Stock Attendant

The stock attendant assists the team in preparing the kitchen, maintaining the cooking environment's cleanliness, caring for the safety of all staff members and guests, as well as, taking on culinary tasks as they arise.

Barback-Boardwalk Bar

DOE

Must be able to help and assist servers throughout Food and Beverage service. Exceed guest's expectations by providing a high standard service. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Responsible for appearance of section, workstation and dining room

  • 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

  • 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

  • 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

  • Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half
