Summary Description:

The Business Manager works with significant independence directing the accounting

and administrative operations of Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre under the guidance

and authority of the Executive Artistic Director and the Director of Operations. As a

professional, the Business Manager provides skilled administrative and operational

support for the fulfillment of Coeur dAlene Summer Theatres mission and vision.

The Business Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing accounting procedures,

from the day-to-day financial transactions to the preparation of monthly and annual

financial reports. Additionally, the role extends to managing administrative functions,

ensuring that the organization\'s infrastructure supports its strategic objectives and

operational needs.

One of the Business Manager\'s key responsibilities is serving as a liaison to the Board

of Directors, particularly the Finance & Audit Committee. This collaboration is

instrumental in maintaining compliance as set by the Board Treasurer. The Business

Manager\'s expertise supports board reporting by providing detailed financial data to the

Board Treasurer, thereby enabling informed decision-making and governance at the

highest level.

In summary, the Business Manager is a key figure within the organization, entrusted

with the responsibility of maintaining financial integrity and operational excellence.

Through effective oversight of accounting and administrative operations and close

collaboration with the board and the Finance & Audit Committee, this role supports the

About Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre

Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre is a nationally-ranked, award-winning, regional theatre

and produces professional musical theatre to bring joy to the community. Producing 3

full-scale Broadway productions every summer, Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre is also

the home of the Musical Theatre Training Institute, an educational arm that develops

quality musical theatre talent. Coeur dAlene Summer Theatre was founded in 1967 and

became a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization in 1984.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong organization skills and

attention to detail with an ability to work independently with little or no supervision and

as part of a team, collaborating well with colleagues. The right candidate has an ability

to work quickly and efficiently to prioritize problem solving and can adapt to changing

circumstances.

Responsibilities:

a) Operations

? Maintain organization calendars

? Maintain & update Standard Operating Procedures across organization

? Maintain Google drive files & access

? Maintain organization security protocols

? Manage & maintain asset inventory

? Organize and coordinate office administration and procedures

? Oversee organization supplies for office, costume shop, stage management -

including inventory and tracking of asset depreciation.

? Participate actively in the planning and execution of organization events.

? Manage & maintain relevant licensing

? Assist in various other operational elements as needed
