The Instrumentation Technician is a position that is vital to the operation of Instrumentation Shop. As a tech you will ensure proper flow of work and equipment for all instrumentation jobs company wide. You will also work closely with the engineers to meet job requirements and research new solution to problems.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Green Tag (Repair and maintain) Instrumentation & Filtration Equipment.

  • Manage all incoming and outgoing equipment orders.

  • Research new products and procedures.

  • Build new equipment.

  • Manage inventory.

  • Travel for jobs.

  • Train employees on Instrumentation & Filtration equipment and procedures.

  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures and report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or EHS.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education

Required

  • High School or GED or better

Experience

Required

  • General experience with mechanical equipment and hand tools.

  • 1 year: Six months to one-year related experience
