Honeywell Advanced Connected Solutions Technology (ACST) team is seeking a highly qualified Senior Procurement Buyer for our Chandler, AZ, Golden Valley, MN or Albuquerque, NM locational You will be responsible for procurement process for commercial and Government Buying including quotations, negotiations, order placement, material and service tracking, and problem resolution.

• Citizenship Required: United States Citizenship

• Clearance Required: Yes; you must either currently have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance.

• Travel Required: Some travel required – 20%

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and drive procurement of material and services in support of business requirements

• Experience with US Government purchasing procedures and practices

• Procurement activities including RFQ processes, supplier selection, purchase order placement, monitoring shipment and services and supplier performance

• Act as main point of contact for suppliers

• Work with internal team on requirements, need dates and work to support projects and businesses

• Ensure that the suppliers are acknowledging orders immediately and accurately within established lead-times

U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual regulations.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 plus years of procurement experience

• 5+ years of experience in Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

• Due to U.S. export control laws, must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

WE VALUE

• Minimum of 5 years of FAR Part 15 Government Buying experience

• Bachelor's Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Administration.

• Experience with subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements.

• Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions)

• Ability to prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding.

• Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies as well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes or Honeywell terms and conditions requirements.

• Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments.

• Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.

• Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well-organized manner with limited oversight.

• Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timely decisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-like atmosphere.

• Participation in a culture of excellence and teamwork.

• Ability to clearly and concisely conveys subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbal.
