Salary Range: $19.79 - $33.10

Performs basic repairs to machines and equipment for building systems. This includes HVAC units, fan coils, pumps, motors, compressors, plumbing, electrical and other building mechanical equipment and systems. Performs repairs utilizing plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills. Assists with snow removal activities by driving AMC vehicles to snowplow, distribute road salt, and shovel sidewalks.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Performs periodic preventative maintenance repairs and inspections on machinery and systems.

• Maintains and various machines and equipment such as compressors, pumps, motors and fan coils.

• Conducts facility rounds and documents hot water temperatures and equipment data.

• Follows AMC policies and procedures and adheres to all AMC safety policies and regulations.

• Operates equipment and makes adjustments using Building Management System (Metasys).

• Troubleshoots HVAC systems and pneumatic tube system.

• Responds to facility maintenance work requests and makes repairs as needed.

• Logs all activities in facility maintenance logbook.

• Maintains records of tests, calibrations and inspections performed.

• Assists and cooperates with supervisor to schedule and complete preventive maintenance, repair work and call center work requests.

• Performs basic electrical and plumbing repairs.

• Responsible for conducting good housekeeping measures to promote Facility Safety Measures.

• Responsible for attending asbestos training annually and to be part of the asbestos team.

• When needed, management reserves the right to assign, reassign, direct or redirect all employees.

• Has a working knowledge of the safe use of all tools related to mechanical trade.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum high school or trade school graduate

• One (1) year experience in a multi trade maintenance shop
